Lausanne City FC are delighted to announce that Blaise Nkufo (48) has today signed as head coach of the first team for the next two seasons.
Born in Congo on 25 May 1977, Blaise Nkufo moved to Switzerland at the age of 7 and has enjoyed a brilliant career. As a professional footballer, he played for a number of Swiss and foreign clubs. A Swiss international on 34 occasions, he scored 7 goals for the Swiss team, including 4 goals in the qualifying campaign for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He has a wealth of experience and is active in a number of countries, notably Cameroon, where he opened an academy that has produced players who are now playing in Europe.
