WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

We are Lausanne City FC. In the field, we are dynamic, ambitious and fiery. Apart from that, we have made social responsibility our mission.

 

We want to create a set of structures that allow us to be economically, ecologically and socially sustainable. We understand our responsibility to promote sustainability as much as possible for both current and future generations.

We want to be a role model, motivating and inspiring others to follow in our footsteps. We are developing a sustainable future for our club, as well as for our environment.

 

As a member of society and social culture, we want to help everyone to be part of it through our community involvement, regardless of their social background. We encourage talent and passion beyond the world of football. We stand for equal opportunity, gender, diversity and cosmopolitanism.

CHILDREN & YOUNG ADULTS

Children and young adults are the future of our society. We are a companion for them as they grow into strong personalities. Whatever their social background, we want to foster their talent and help make it a level playing field.

Tolerance, diversity and cosmopolitanism are the keys to a strong society. We are attached to these values and live the diversity that distinguishes the Lausanne City Football Club.

​

Education is the engine of a progressive society. It guarantees our democracy and our social coexistence. Education also enables positive social mobility.

EXERCISE & HEALTH

​

Exercise and health are important for body and mind. We promote a healthy lifestyle. Sport gives us the motivation to succeed as a team and promotesFair Play and respect.

ECOLOGY & ECONOMY

FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
 

The environment and ecological issues have become paramount for our club as well as in society in general. We would like to use our reputation and that of football in general to draw attention to important issues, discussions and perhaps even initiate behavioral changes.

We have identified three key environmental issues that we are consciously striving to address as part of our sustainability strategy and have set ourselves clear future goals for these. 

​

FOR THE CLUB

​

Sustainability and having a long-lasting structure in our club is imperative to ensuring our long-term success on the pitch as well as economically. 

​

Sporting success remains our most important goal. Our holistic and player-specific work with our youth teams supports the holistic development of young players on and off the pitch. 

​

We believe in corporate social responsibility and act with integrity. We have directed our business activity to ensure that we meet all legal and regulatory requirements as well as our aspirations to operate in a sustainable manner. 

​

Along with our Code of Conduct, Mandatory Compliance Guidelines and Guidelines
anti-corruption, we have created initiatives and structures within several of our departments, including human resources, finance, operations and acts, which work to achieve the important objectives of our sustainability model.

​

We also strive to continually grow as an organization so that we can remain mentally alert and sustainable. To do this, we engage with and work with others, creating synergies and combining potentials. 

​

We believe that you are stronger when you are part of a team, so we value long-term partnerships and collaboration.
