Dear supporters, partners and friends of Lausanne City FC,
At this festive time of year, I would like to take a moment to send you my warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025.
The festive period is traditionally a time for reflection and balance. It's common at these times for us to look back at what we've achieved and plan new goals and aspirations.
This continues in the individual and family dimension, but also in our personal and professional context. It also happens at Lausanne City.
I see 2024 as an important year for our club. This year has been marked by difficulties that have enabled all of us, and myself personally, to question ourselves in greater depth. This has enabled us to grow and move forward hand in hand as the process continues. We would like to thank our partners, with whom collaboration is essential to the success and development of the club.
As we look to the future, I can't fail to mention the launch of our first holiday camps and the arrival of the women's team for the 2025/26 season.
Once again, we are proud to see that Lausanne City is taking the lead by continuing its development, whether sporting or organisational.
This is the position I want and defend for our club! An autonomous and independent club, courageous and determined, which rejects no opportunity to do things differently, to do more and to do it better.
This is the ambition that drives us all, and it is the commitment that I intend to reinforce in 2025.
I am not unaware of the difficulties of the past and that the new year will be marked by new challenges and transformations in our environment, but as has always been the case, we will not fail to assume our position, our vision and our convictions in all our endeavours, with the capacity for criticism that is our trademark and which we will not renounce.
I must emphasise that we have a single objective: to make our Lausanne City grow in all its dimensions.
I wish you all the best in meeting this enormous collective challenge, but at this particular time, I hope you have the peace and communion in your homes and families that this season deserves.
Mario Marques,
President
