Our first team had a difficult evening in their second warm-up match, losing 3-1 to a well-organised Ecublens side. From the outset, the home side struggled to find their rhythm, which quickly showed on the scoreboard. By half-time, the score was 3-0 in favour of the home side.
However, the second half revealed a very different Lausanne City side. Motivated and determined to turn things around, the players responded with intensity. A fine team move saw Robyn deliver a perfect cross for Bruno, who scored his third goal in two games. Unfortunately, with preparation not yet complete and fatigue starting to set in, the players were unable to capitalise on their opportunities.
The team remains focused on its main objective: to be ready for the first league match. Training resumes on Thursday, and a friendly against Mont-Goulin is scheduled for Sunday at La Tuilière (Lausanne). The players will be hoping to capitalise on the lessons learned from that match to take the season forward with confidence and determination.
