City got back to winning ways on Friday evening with a 4-3 victory over Villars-Tiercelin, thanks to a hat-trick from Moustapha Sambe and a goal from Fabien Le Mée.

Moustapha Sambe led the way from the kick-off, opening the scoring before the first minute had even been played. This dazzling move was the prelude to a match rich in emotion. Shortly afterwards, Fabien Le Mée, back from injury, doubled the lead with a cross-header from a perfectly executed corner, leaving the opposing goalkeeper helpless.
Although Villars-Tiercelin were on top, they were able to respond by reducing the deficit thanks to a counter-attack led by some talented young players. Idrissa had the chance to give his team a two-goal lead from the penalty spot, but the goalkeeper brilliantly saved his effort.
Lausanne City led 2-1 at the break. The second half got off to a fast start and, after a moment's hesitation, the away team equalised. But Moustapha, on a great day, quickly put the team back in front by following up a counter-attack perfectly and firing an unstoppable shot into the net.
Despite a spirited fightback from Villars-Tiercelin, who pulled a goal back from a corner, Lausanne City never gave up. Moustapha Sambe, on fire, scored the winning goal to seal the game.
