The end of the season promises to be exciting. Facing FC Romanel, a team ahead of them in the standings, the Cityzens knew they had a golden opportunity to close the gap and revive their hopes of staying up.

Our players took a while to get into the game. No doubt due to the importance of the match. Robyn Parente's goal from an excellent pass by Bruno Sa took the pressure off and set the team free. The first half was marked by a series of clear-cut chances, which if it hadn't been for an excellent opposing goalkeeper, our players could have gone in at the break with a bigger scoreline.
This victory is all the more significant in that it allows our team to close the gap on the day's opponents. With this victory, our players have shown that they are ready to fight to the end. The players and staff know that there are still three games to go, and each of them is now considered a final.
The team is driven by a clear objective: to finish the season on a positive note and stay up. The cohesion and team spirit that are essential at these decisive moments seem stronger than ever.
Our team will be lucky enough to be able to play the next two games at home and we're looking forward to the support of all the supporters and to being the 12th player!
