Lausanne City is launching its first edition of the City Cup, which kicks off on 15 August 2023.
The City Cup is a friendly tournament played one week before the start of the regular season. It is the first high-stakes match played by Lausanne City before the start of the championship.
The cup between Lausanne City and the guest club is played over a single match. In the event of a tie at the end of normal time, no extra time is played and the teams decide on penalties.
For this first edition, Lausanne City has the pleasure of hosting FC Genève United. The match is scheduled for 18 August 2023 at 8pm at the La Palestre sports centre.
