THE ROLE

As a massager/healer for Lausanne City's main team, you will play an essential role in the physical preparation and recovery of the players, ensuring that they are in the best possible condition for training sessions and matches.

Our club was founded in October 2021 and after our promotion in 2023, we want to continue to make history. But our journey is far from over. We want to give football the status that Lausanne and its region deserve in this city that is so passionate about sport, and we want to continue to celebrate fantastic moments of football with our fans. THE ROLE

USE YOUR PERSONAL STRENGTHS

Areas of responsibility and tasks in which something can be changed:

TASKS:

  • Attend once a week (Monday) to provide care and massage to players, targeting areas of muscular tension and promoting recovery after training and matches.
  • Be available on match day to prepare the players physically and mentally, providing specific care before and after matches.
  • Working closely with the medical staff and coaches to assess players' individual needs in terms of care and recovery.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Use your knowledge of anatomy, physiology and massage techniques to help prevent injuries and improve player performance.
  • Keeping records of the treatments provided and the progress made by players, so as to monitor their progress and adapt care accordingly.
  • Taking part in team meetings and training courses to keep up to date with the latest advances in sports care and recovery.

SKILLS

EXPERIENCE AND PREVIOUS ACHIEVEMENTS MATTER HERE:

Relevant to the position:

  • Previous experience as a masseur/soigneur in a sports environment, preferably in football.
  • Good knowledge of human anatomy, massage techniques and sports recovery methods.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet the needs of players and the demands of the match schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with medical staff, coaches and players.
  • Keen observation skills to detect signs of injury or fatigue in players and take appropriate action.

Diploma or certification in body care.

French, English (an asset)

Willingness to travel 30-40
