RULES RELATING TO GAMES
AND COMPETITIONS

1. Organisation of the competition

1.1. These rules set out the general rules applicable to any competition organised by Lausanne City FC, particularly on social networks via the club's official pages. If there are any special conditions for a competition, they will refer to these general rules and, where applicable, will derogate from these general conditions.

2. Conditions of participation

2.1. Admission and participation are free.

2.2. In the specific case where minors are invited to take part in competitions, they do so under the responsibility of an adult, but never for cash games.

2.3. Participation in the competition is limited to one entry per person and per social network (e.g. on Instagram, only 1 comment per Instagram account will be taken into account in the draw) or on our website.

2.4. The same person may take part once on each of the 6 social networks listed in article 3.

3. Terms and conditions of participation

3.1. The competitions take place on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter (@lausannecityfc) but can also take place on the club's website.

3.2. To validate his/her participation, the participant must not only subscribe to the organisers' pages depending on the network (Facebook page if he/she is participating on the Facebook publication, for example), but he/she must also like the publication of the account concerned and share it on his/her account. The organisers reserve the right to check that the conditions for participation are met at the time of the draw.

3.3. In the case of participation via a simple entry form on our website, the participant confirms his/her participation by sending the duly completed form.

4. Date and duration of the competition

4.1. Dates will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

5. Prices

5.1. For each operation, the prizes to be won are clearly presented. Under no circumstances may the prize be the subject of financial consideration or exchanged for other objects or services, whatever their value.

 

5.2. If the winner is unwilling or unable to take possession of their prize, they will not be entitled to any compensation.

6. Procedures for notifying the winner and withdrawing the prize

 

6.1. Participants acknowledge that they may be disqualified from the competition if the teams responsible fail to contact them by any means whatsoever.

 

6.2. In the event of participation via the Internet, participants in the competitions also acknowledge that they may be disqualified if they fail to reply to an e-mail from the teams responsible within 24 hours.  

 

6.3. The winners will receive their prize by post or by any other method designated for each particular game. If the delivery service is unable to deliver the prize, it will leave a notice stating its contact details so that the winner can contact it directly to arrange a new delivery. If the winner does not respond to this notice, the prize(s) won will become the property of Lausanne City FC.

 

6.4. Once delivered, the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. Lausanne City FC will not be responsible for any loss or return of the prize or related costs.

7. Specific limits

 

7.1. Should the third party company offering the prize cease trading before delivery of the prize, Lausanne City reserves the right to cancel the competition or modify the prize. In such a case, Lausanne City is released from all responsibility both to the participants and to the winner.

7.2. Where the competition relates to an event (show, concert, etc.) for which the prize consists of one or more entries to the event, in the event of the event organisers or the authorities deciding to cancel the event for any reason whatsoever prior to or on the day of the event, Lausanne City will be released from all liability both to the participants and to the winner(s).

7.3. Access gained for a cancelled event cannot be compensated by any means.

7.4. Any participation deemed to give rise to a suspicion of fraud will also be considered null and void. In particular, any manipulation of the computer data linked to the competition and the presence of prizes among close postal addresses will lead to suspicion of fraud. In the latter cases, Lausanne City reserves the right to disqualify the person(s) suspected of fraud and/or to cancel the competition, without prejudice to the liability of the fraudster(s).

7.5. Any incomplete, illegible or erroneous details will be considered invalid and will lead to the cancellation of participation in the competition. Lausanne City cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for illegible answers and/or the loss of electronic mail sent by participants. Lausanne City cannot be held responsible for the unavailability of its website, server or postal problems, any technical failure whatsoever related to the newsletter and other events beyond the control of the organisers.

8. Complaints and requests for information

8.1. Lausanne City will respond to enquiries relating to the competitions at the following address : info@lausannecityfc.ch

9. Application form and notification of competition rules

9.1. Form of acceptance and communication of the competition rulesThese rules will be communicated to any person who submits a written request. They are also published on the Lausanne City FC website. 

10. Personal data

10.1. Participants' personal data (name, address and telephone number of participants) will be processed in accordance with the privacy charter, which should be consulted on our website.

10.2. In accordance with the privacy policy described on our website, participants may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, opposition, limitation, deletion and portability. For any request concerning the protection of their personal data, participants may send an e-mail to : info@lausannecityfc.ch

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Swiss law and the place of jurisdiction is Lausanne.
